Loved the background music always playing whenever we moved around the house. Dining area was quiet and peaceful with generous full size windows looking out into greenery. And also the thoughtful service reminders to leave used cutlery at return trolley so we could speed through our meals and move on with our day efficiently!

I wasn’t disappointed as the community have made sure they are all remembered, with a couple of memorials.
It is a beautiful part of the country, with stunning scenery abound, walking ,touring, boat trips, coffee haunts..history..or just watching boats ply the water.
A train trip would be an absolute highlight on the Kyle line, your nose would be pressed against the window the whole way.
If you like driving or motorcycles…..your in for a treat…..

Easy access to bridge over to the Isle of Skye.
Easy access to bridge over to the Isle of Skye. Very friendly townsfolk. Can recommend The Kyle Hotel for staying in when visiting. Room and ensuite were immaculately clean. It is also very good value for money food wise and staff very pleasant.

I absolutely loved the location.
I absolutely loved the location. If you enjoy spectacular scenery and like the outdoors then this is a great place to be in. The morning breakfast was included and was wonderful.
We relied on public transportation, that was a bad idea. Having your own car is absolutely essential.

We stayed one night in Kyle of Lochalsh, really just so we could get a quick look at the Isle of Skye before continuing on our travels. Lovely place to stay. We did have a quick drive into Skye, which maybe wasn't really worth it. We have enjoyed our driving around mainland Scotland more...

There are so many different things to access from Kyle of Lochalsh. As well as Skye, there are many tourist attractions and beauty spots on the mainland too. We could have done more on Skye, as well as more things close by.

The hotel itself is well over priced, and the rooms we had had a lovely view bushes and gas storage tank. I have stayed in better hotels for up to a third of the price. Talking to other guests they were as dissatisfied as we were but like us had no other options.

This is hands down the best self catering place I've ever stayed. The accommodation was perfectly situated, beautifully presented, superbly equipped and so comfortable for us all. The owners had fab communication with me and were ever so accommodating. It was the perfect home base from which to explore Skye and the Highlands.
Location was perfect. Room was lovely very modern and clean. Dinner in the hotel in the evening was perfect. The dining room had panoramic views over the water. Food was good. Had the best night sleep ever. Breakfast was either continental or hot food. I had full English breakfast. All staff were professional and friendly.
Friendly reception staff who were most helpful in getting me and my partner, who has limited mobility, installed in a suitable room, which had been refurbished recently. Good buffet breakfast. Also a good dinner menu, well cooked and well served. Ample free parking behind the hotel.
Good sized room & en-suite located in Kyle of Lochalsh. Heather was an excellent host & we found the accommodation like a home for home. Ideally situated for travelling over the Skye bridge to explore the island. We will consider in the future returning as we enjoyed it so much.
