After a cancellation flight, I quickly booked a room before they were all taken. 10 minutes later, I arrived at the hotel to find the website had put in a random date, as I hadn't checked. I had to pay for another night it was a simple mistake, and no-one at the hotel or booking.com was willing to rectify it. It was a traumatic experience of the cancellation being left to our own in the airport then getting told I haven't a reservation and have to pay again. How can I leave a review of a room I didn't stay in!
