We stayed here the same time last year and i have to be honest it felt very unclean and the bathroom was awful with a bad smell of drains, we were meant to check out today but came home yesterday after seeing family and we will not return.

Entrance…too many steps up or down for an old’un………but ad did state ..stairs only to rooms on upper floors, so…….
Cozy room, comfortable bed, t press, iron, hairdryer….all good but no breakfast for the price paid. Not even continental….easy one!

This is our second stay now. We chose the same beautiful room as last time, which overlooks the mill water wheel and stream. Absolutely fantastic food, drink. Staff are always so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Love the refurbished downstairs toilets, they're really nice.
Can't wait to stay over again ☺️
I was there only for a funeral in Dukinfield. I would normally have made use of the swimming pool which looked inviting. If you are visiting Manchester and Hyde is in the right area and you are happy with total self service breakfast then given there is parking available this could be the place for you.

I was really surprised by this hotel, which is apparently the very first Village hotel. The guy at reception was great, very friendly, and put the sofa bed down in my room within 5 minutes of asking as I didn't need it. Comfy, clean bed. Great nights sleep.
It was exactly the same as the photos. Such a lovely space, it was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect location to our family that lived in Hyde so we would be using it again.
The pool was excellent, though the amount of sand on the floor of the pool was disappointing. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel was comfortable.
