Have stayed a number of times at this hotel and one of the stand-out things for me, beng coeliac, is the number of gluten free food options offered.
This time the hotel was exceptionally quiet with few guests. We twice had dinner in the bar, with the main restaurant closed, and a restricted menu the first time, which wasn't so good.
The staff are always very cheery and helpful.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the facilities in the room were excellent. We particularly liked the fact there was a fridge. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly before arriving through the booking.com messaging service. We plan to return!

Grantown is a nice picturesque highland small town with good high street shopping - the small supermarkets in town had a big selection of Scottish Whisky at very good prices. Hotel/Restuarants were very good.

This is a good place to explore Grant clan history and local history. The museum is a must. The 2 people there were very knowledgable.
There are trails everywhere so great for hiking. Landscape is very varied: a field, stream, forest moss covered bumps among trees looks like something out of a fairy tale.

Grantown is a very pleasant community which has tourist facilities but has a 'life of its own' and does not solely rely on tourists. It has a pleasant museum & golf course and excellent places to walk. It feels very safe. It is a very good base from which to radiate out both into the Cairngorms, along the Spey and up to the north coast. We stayed four nights which fitted with other plans we had but I could happily have spent a full week here.

We had a great time at RossMor, enjoying our stay in clean, very well-kept vintage rooms with views of the Cairngorms National Park.
Thomas and Ben were lovely hosts who made every effort to make our stay special. Thomas also had really helpful hiking recommendations for the area. Grantown on Spey itself is also a much nicer town than e.g. Aviemore.
The high-quality breakfast had a lot of different options to choose from each day.
We definitely recommend RossMor and are sure to stay there again if we visit Grantown on Spey in the future!
