Such a wonderful stay, in a lovely cosy pub. Very friendly staff, lovely food, comfortable & clean room. We felt very relaxed and our stay at The Foresters made our weekend. A lovely breakfast to start our day and then off to explore Bath.

Lovely traditional inn in a superb location. Our room had great views of Nunney parish church and the castle. Room was comfortable (No 10 - Church). Excellent breakfast. All the staff were excellent and really friendly.

A perfect weekend destination.
A perfect weekend destination. The many independent vintage, jewellery, book, clothes and homeware stores and their very engaging owners are a joy.
We enjoyed some delicious meals and particularly enjoyed lunch at Little Walcot, afternoon cocktails at The Archangel, dinner at Inoshishi Izacaya, and a pub lunch at The Talbot Inn in Mells, a town nearby.
We loved The Dandy Lion for vintage fashion, Sherlock & Pages, Popicoq and Charles Hart Jewellers/Vintage Tom, The Iron Gates (more vintage shopping!) and The Frome Bookshop.

Quaint not so small town with a small shopping centre and several pubs and restaurants. Try and go to the small but interesting cinema especially as tickets are only £4.00! Eat in the George Hotel, it is a good varied menu and good for people with food allergies.

Went to see Walter Trout in concert. It was great. What I saw of the town was very good - welcoming pubs, charming and interesting shops, surprisingly ornate public buildings and quaint cottages dating back several hundred years. Lovely market town to browse around.

Frome is a historic, pretty and slightly quirky town.
Historic buildings, loads of places to eat and drink and a variety of retail outlets including some national chains. I particlarly enjoyed walking around the central area, and the museum was very good.
Well worth a visit

Character property in a great location in the centre of Frome. We loved the decor and furnishings which were in keeping with the style of the property and had everything we needed in the room for a comfortable stay and there were some nice touches like a cafetiere with sachets of freshly ground coffee and a flask, so that you could collect fresh milk from the bar. Everything was very eco friendly. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Had a lovely dinner in the hotel bar.
Very dog friendly too.
The location was ideal in the centre of Frome - and the bonus was that the hotel did have some parking (despite it saying no hotel parking on the website). The free toiletries were lovely and the TV was well sited in the room The staff at breakfast were really helpful and friendly.
