Frensham Pond Country House Hotel & Spa, hotel in Farnham

Our 4-star hotel also comes with a spa wellness centre where you can relax for treatments. Please note the spa facilities are NOT included in the rate and is subject to availability.

The location is beautiful and being so close to the lake was very relaxing. It was a perfect country escape. We had paid extra for rose petals for my girlfriends birthday and this along with towel swans was a lovely touch.  We had one of your outside rooms which was away from the main building. This room was lovely, spacious and very clean.

Farnham House Hotel, hotel in Farnham

A charming hotel with bright and individually designed bedrooms, free parking and free Wi-Fi access, in a superb peaceful yet convenient location.

Lovely grounds and super comfortable room, very spacious, warm and welcoming and bathroom a good size. Perfect location for my work and dog friendly - great to have a room with access to outside grounds so very easy to exercise my dogs without trapsing through the hotel. It was a fleeting visit for me with late check in and early departure due to work so no time for food or drinks but on check in and departure staff were friendly and welcoming - will be returning.

Farnham is a lovely town with gorgeous shops, parks and even a castle to explore. There are countless restaurants and coffee shops, and it has a lovely atmosphere. The traffic is an issue in the town, this was my 4th visit in as many years, and this year the traffic was extremely busy and effected the ambience of the town as a whole. Don't let this put you off though. Try a drink or two and a bite to eat in the lovely beer garden at The Lost Boy. Such a treat on a sunny day. We always stay at The Bush Hotel, which is fabulous with an incredible history. The beds are comfortable and the breakfasts superb. It's right in the centre of the town, and is the best place to stay in our opinion.

Had two rounds of golf booked at Hankley Common which is only 2 miles or 5 minute drive down the road. The a great little country pub perfectly situated with good food, nice rooms although a little small and lovely friendly staff. My room had a complimentary bottle of flavoured gin, also there is a small room called The study on the first floor which was a small seating area that had plenty of books for a nice quiet read, a radio should you want to listen and also a bottle of Glenfiddich single malt scotch you could help yourself to. Nice touch! I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area…

Returning after attending college here 40 years ago it was wonderful to see the overall charm hadn’t changed, the period buildings, the quirky “yards” and churches, pubs and laneways means Farnham is still a beautiful place to visit. Plenty to investigate. Shops have changed or updated but the character still invites a thorough walk around town. Further afield delivers the pleasures of rural Surrey, Farnham and the environs, are in my opinion well worth a visit.

Absolutely loved our stay at this spotless, spacious and stylish apartment. It overlooks the main road on Farnham but we weren’t disturbed by any noise - particularly in the bedroom which is at the back of the property. A great alternative to a cramped hotel room for business travellers or a cool bolthole for a couple who want to be in walking distance from everything Farnham has to offer. Owners were great and very quick to respond to messages. Thank you!

Farnham House hotel is an excellent cost-effective hotel that I use from time to time when teaching at the University. The staff are super-friendly and very accommodating, especially with respect to me being a vegan and therefore having certain dietary requirements. I also work very long hours when in Farnham and they bend over backwards to allow me to come and go at unusual hours. Everyone who works there is great.
