Loved how the property kept the tradition Tudor theme and old style furniture in period. Loved the names of the rooms and how spacious the rooms were. Definitely value for money in regards to the room space.

Multiple problems with room: Drains in sink and shower not working properly, wifi speeds so low as to be unusable sometimes, wifi unprotected by entry code, (possible security issue?) unsuitable chairs, TV control not working, audible noise from road, nowhere to place travel cases, etc. Breakfast arrangements were not up to standard, and no proper reception or office yet developed.

Booked for an overnight business visit. While the location is close to the docks and the building is historic right next to the Transporter Bridge (one of only two in the UK) and doesn't look particularly inviting from the outside the rooms were comfortable and to a high standard. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived late and left early so did not try breakfast or the bar.
