Comfortable beds, nice breakfast in the mornings, I put a request to be at the end of a corridor as we have a dog that likes to bark at any noise and they did put us at the end which we were grateful for and I'm sure other guests staying would have been!

Staff were really nice and helpful. Food was very good. Room was spacious. Although the place is just a mile off the A38 it feels like you are in the middle of nowwhere but this pub/Inn has a polished feel and was really busy for a Wednesday evening. They do get a lot of business people and this probably drives up the standards. Very pleased as we got a great rate off of Booking.com.
