Breakfast was amazing lots of choice and staff were fantastic. We travelled with our dog and were able to use the breakfast room in the morning along with other pups on their holidays as well. Really well organised.

The hotel staff were delightful. The hotel is located right next to the ruined priory on Holy Island and our room had a spectacular view eastwards towards Lindisfarne Castle. We saw some wonderful sunrises. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Room furnishings adequate.

lovely and characterful with links to L.S. Lowry but one or two pubs and shops closed at this time of year, nice walking round the walls and historical areas and lovely walk along the river. and I can recommend Coulls Fish restaurant the plate of fish and chips was huge.

I do not have a car but in Berwick on Tweed there are trains and plenty of buses for you stay to get you to beautiful coastal villages such as Coldingham and St Abbs. There are a choice of splendid eating places, such as Coulls fish and chip restaurant and the very popular Turkish restaurant in Bridge Street. There is a lovely walk alongside the peaceful riverside , ending in the picturesque castle vale gardens near the famous viaduct with its view of the remains of the stone wall protecting Berwick of old!

berwick is a border town, the most northerly, I don't drive but a car is useful if you have one, but regular train services and if you download the borders buses app on your phone, a good starting point for trips to Kelso, Galashiels and Eyemouth amongst others. I visited the barracks museum and good walking as well as good restaurants in the area as well. Lots of local independent shops and no need to take toilteries as several shops sell at good price

A quiet place with bags of history, some fine buildings not just military. The Military museum is certainly worth a visit as it also contains the town's museum. The battlements are worth the walk around as is heading out to the lighthouse. Some very good pubs. Very friendly place. Easy bus ride down to Holy Island.

The riverside walks were lovely and it was nice to sit outside in the sunshine at the cafe near the bridge. Walking along the walls was also a highlight with its views out to sea and of the varied historical old town houses. The Visitor Centre and the nearby churches were very interesting. The fish and chips at the fish restaurant were scrumptious and very filling. We also enjoyed our pasties from the Butcher's down the street from B&M. The uphill parts of the town are tiring at our age but we found plenty of cafes with plenty of choice to help us regain our strength.

The dinner was absolutely amazing. Great value for money. Pleasantly surprised. The location was very well placed. The hotel was close enough to Lindisfarne and Berwick Town but far enough away to feel secluded. Room with a sea view. Staff amazing who couldn't do enough for you. All in all great stay.

Wow, what a superb B&B. We spent 3 nights at The Old Parsonage as we were travelling up to commence a NC500 road trip, and without doubt The Old Parsonage was the best we stayed in out of the 10 hotels/B&Bs we stayed in during our trip.

Well situated for Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne, Berwick and Scottish Borders, the hotel is right on the A1 (nothing like as busy as it is further South!).
