This is a small early twentieth century town with a magnificent beach and is a super base to explore the area from. There is so much history just a short drive away and the city of Deauville can be reached extremely easily along the coast road. Walking and cycling opportunities are excellent too. The local restaurants are very good - we particularly enjoyed eating at Le Mermoz. The fish market in Trouville was also amazing.

Cozy town with a lovely center. There is nice architecture, some good shops and restaurants. Nice view on the neighboring city and picturesque hills from the beach. Quite a relaxed atmosphere on the beach, as we were there at the beginning of September. It was interesting to discover that Claude Lelouch made a lot of movies there.AlonaNetherlands

Shop, butcher, bakery just around the corner. Bar and restaurant by the beach.Lovely off road cycle route around the lake only 1 min cycle from the apartment. We chose the apartment as it was pet friendly and our dogs travel with us. Secure patio area for the dogs. The owners were very helpful in answering promptly any questions we had. Basically everything you need within a short stroll .

We had a cosy double which is quite small, so you need to be organised! The breakfast room was lovely with great views. Breakfast was quite expensive, but there was a good range of delicious local products on offer. Special mention for Aurelian who took our cases to and from our car and gave us lots of valuable information about places to visit in the area.
