The house has been restored with elegant eccentricity. Check out the family room with two original Empire-style beds complete with awnings and an antique double bed. All very comfortable. Beautifully created courtyard outside ideal for leisurely drinks. Good breakfast with delicious baguettes. All in a village truly in la France profonde. A spacious very recently renovated apartment with a large fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom and separate toilet situated right next to the main road which runs through Rougemont. The bedroom was very narrow and the bed rather small for me as I am 1.95m tall, so I ended up sleeping on the sofa which was rather uncomfortable. Two smaller people would manage quite well in the bed but my feet hung over the end. The water supply is heavily chlorinated so a good idea to bring bottled water for drinking.
