Beautiful historical building felt like I got to live in a castle for the night. The hostess (audette not sure if I have the name right) was extremely helpful and super nice

The location is excellent with an absolutely stunning view from the balcony overlooking the river. The room was clean and well set up. Plenty of fresh clean towels, some toiletries provided. There was plenty of roadside parking when we arrived for check in. Quite unbelievable facilities and location really given the low price. Highly recommended. Lovely riverside walk straight from the building too.
Le 28 is located in Uzerche, just 23 miles from Brive Town Hall and 23 miles from Brive Exhibition Centre. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi.

Location: In the historical city of Uzerche, walking distance to the center (about 15-20 min). Uzerche is an old town located on a high bend of Vezere river, the apartment is located on the other side of the river also on a hill. Short distance (about 15km) from crossing of A20 and A89 motorways. A good place for overnight stay or a longer stay.
Hotel: the apartment occupies all ground level of the house, the hosts live above on the upstairs level. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, large bathroom and a corridor between them. There is also a terrace on the same level.
Room: large and comfortable, we could use one bedroom to sleep and the second to store our bags.
electric sockets: several, easy access, also near the bed;
lighting: very good.
Bathroom: large and comfortable, equipped with a large bathtub and shower, shower cabin is large and comfortable, lot of space for your toiletries.
Breakfast: good coffee, good sweats, very good if you prefer French style, no vegetables or ham so not so good if you prefer German style breakfast.
WiFi: good signal.
Parking: free, at the street front of the apartment.
Hôtel Saint-Roch, Saint-Ybard has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Saint-Ybard.

The room was very comfortable: good bed and shower. The town and surroundings are lovely. The breakfast (continental with many options) was also very good.
Beautiful medieval town with lots of history. Quaint little bars and some nice places to eat. Best explored on foot at a slow pace. Pretty countryside and some nice walks. Not the place for you if you're looking for high tech or organised entertainment. Great for peace and quiet and slow pace.

A funky little town with some unusual and very old architecture, and nice little bars, especially the one under the old railway bridge by the river. some great walks in the surrounding countryside. A perfect stopover.

Virtually every street away from the central road is a 1 in 2 climb (or feels like it) nice views of river as well as pleasant backdrops to it. Number of buildings in Castle like style there is probably enough to see in just the one day or overnight there. Although my travel was in mid Febraury when almost everywhere was closed (Tuesdays and Wednesdays all day on signs) only 1 what you would call hotel was open not many eating places open at night either. After 6pm place like ghost town, which isn't uncommon for France but felt safe to park car or walk down unlit dark walkways although if you have car with electronic parking brake/autohold the inclines of roads make it tricky to reverse in to lots of the road parking bays going uphill. Surrounding countryside was pleasant to drive through but didn't look like somewhare to explore on foot direct from the town. Handy for stop over from A20.

Very interesting picturesque old town built around a Middles Ages walled township. Walls and stone gateways are mostly gone but lots of ancient houses, commercial enterprises and churches still remain intact, really worth a visit. Then there is the river running through the main town, with great walks and bikeways. Good restaurants, cafes and shops.

Okay to use as a base, not far from motorway.
Okay to use as a base, not far from motorway. Lovely town with history and some good walks. One day is enough to see and fo everything in Uzerche itself but great places to visit nearby after a drive.
Following the lockdown restaurants hadnt opened which was a shame so food in the town was difficult.

The Studio appartment was in a lovely traditional old, charming, well maintained building. The views from the room itself were interesting, and Uzerche is a worthwhile town to visit in its own tight, rather than just as a stopover, being old 7 kms from the motorway. Parking was easy, and the property not difficult to find. Our host was exceptionally pleasant and friendly; the studio was very well heated for the time of year, and Uzerche’s Christmas decorations were tasteful and a bonus for us to see.
Uzerche is a beautiful small town. We arrived before dark and had to leave the next morning so we didn't really get to enjoy it much this time. Although on a main road it was very quiet at night.
