It's a charming town with narrow hilly streets.
It's a charming town with narrow hilly streets. Enjoyed La Citadelle visit - the views from there are fantastic. The best restaurant we can recommend is L'Oppidum - we ended up eating there 3 times (2 lunches and dinner) during our 3-day trip. The other good restaurant was Brassero near the cathedral. There is a very good gift shop "La Taste".

We stayed overnight in Sisteron on our way to Gilette, near Nice. Unfortunately the weather was cold and grim, this spoiled it for me, however it is an attractive small town with a variety of shops and the landscape all around is magnificent.MargaretUnited Kingdom - Scored 8.08.0
The location is fantastic.
The location is fantastic. It's great being in town and the town is really beautiful. They could certainly use some professional staff and not rely so heavily on the young ones to greet the customers. The bar and restaurant area is dated and devoid of character. The WiFi was very fast and the parking space more than enough for the guests' cars. Air conditioning a definite plus, given the high outside temperatures when we visited at the end of June. All rooms are accessible by elevator. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but in the nearby shopping district which is a welcome feature of the area.MassimoItaly
