Great location and good breakfast for the price. Room was very small but clean and we had a great view over the front. Ample free street parking adjacent to the hotel.

A quirky set up in what is a small town with not much choice in accommodation.
The breakfast was excellent with home made bread, jams and yogurts

The whole house is beautifully restored and the design features are very chic. The room and bathroom were spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!
The town was very pretty and pleasant for a stroll.
The town was very pretty and pleasant for a stroll. Most restaurants are around the square. There is a chateau which we did not have time to visit, but had an art exhibition and Friday evening events in season which I think included a dinner.

Sancerre is a beautiful old hilltop visage.
Sancerre is a beautiful old hilltop visage. It is pleasantly located allowing day trips to surrounding medieval villages and small cities such as Gion, Bourges, and Auxerre. I strongly recommend taking these day trips. The old cobblestone streets and equally ancient homes and buildings offer wonderful photo ops. I also recommend a drive out into the vineyards. Regarding “getting about in Sancerre,”. Many of the streets are quite steep, so be willing to take your time and enjoy the environment.

We only had an overnight stop in Sancerre.
We only had an overnight stop in Sancerre. It was a shame as I would like to spend more time exploring the area. Sancerre is a lovely little town and worth a wander about. Great wines and nice people. Like many such towns, it does suffer from it's own fame. There are plenty of wine shops, but there appeared to be a lack of usual local retailers.

Obviously focused on wine - but Sancerre is a lovely town with beautiful views and lots of facilities for tourists to learn about Sancerre and what makes it special. Lots of the facilities are geared to include children's interest (even though it's still about wine).

Sancerre is a beautiful with loads of good wine, some nice restaurants, and a stunning scenery around it. Best suitable for couples and those who like a quiet stay. Not much disco and party around here, mostly wine tasting, history, views and good food.

Just one nights stay at The Panoramic but could have stayed longer.
The village is a steep walk up the hill from the hotel, but worth the effort to be rewarded with a good selection of restaurants, wine merchants and individual shops.

This is a lovely place to stay. It is small and cosy but has character with brick walls and is very well designed, so you have everything you need. The bedroom is comfortable and quiet. The kitchen/living area is well equipped. We were able to keep our bicycles inside the accommodation. It is a short walk to the centre of the charming hill top town of Sancerre, famous for its excellent wines.
Beautifully decorated B&B in a wonderful town. Room and bed were very comfortable. The location was superb in the town centre, with parking nearby, and close to restaurants. Hosts were great and provided an excellent breakfast. Will definitely go back to here next time we are in Sancerre.
Pierre saved us - we had a terrible experience with a property in Sancerre and we made contact with him the next morning and he met us early and we moved in for a week. It’s lovely - middle of Sancerre and he also makes great wine - highly recommend a visit to his vineyard.
This hotel delivered exactly what we needed - clean rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location. It lived up to our expectations and offered good value for the price.
