Touring the area by motorcycle house hunting, in preparation for a move to France, we found many towns felt very 'Sad' and run down. Saint Junien felt much more alive and upbeat. A few lively bars, very few properties in poor repair and the town had nothing that would cause concern, either as a holiday stay or even as a town for relocation consideration. Our stay was short, but there was plenty to see for longer stays, we will definitely return and even modify the next road trip to build in a night or two in this wonderful town.Alan - Scored 1010
The place is simply beautiful.
The place is simply beautiful. Perfect for couples who want some quality time together. A nice long walk and soak up the history. Go for a romantic meal and just relax. We ate at Le Boeuf Rouge, the food was delicious and the service was first class.

Perfect for a visit to the WW2 memorial town.. Would def stay again..
