The main plus for this hotel is the location - all the rest is disappointing. The only plus is that the room was tidied up every day by a friendly staff member. A plus also for the offered breakfast (typically French: excellent baguette, croissants, and marmalade different choices for coffee and tea and some fruit juice).

Perfect for a stopover on our way back through France towards Calais. The hotel is no frills but the staff are great, it's dog friendly, has parking, beds are comfy, easy to get to from the motorway, and you can even bring food from outside into the hotel and eat it downstairs in the canteen. Would highly recommend.

One-way systems took a bit of getting used to as a foreigner driving in the city but lots of public car parks and we felt safe walking around in the evening with our kids. Loads of restaurants and bars to choose from, we love Nanakô the noodle bar for its excellent service and freshly cooked authentic food. The cathedral is awe inspiring (currently being renovated after the fire). We'd like to come back and stay longer to explore properly.

Rouen Cathedral is probably the most impressive cathedral I have ever visited because of its impressive facade and the sheer number of saint statues and chapels inside. Real candles are still allowed here. Many lovely old buildings in the historic town centre. Also a good range of attractive shops, including Sephora. The market hall near the Jean D'Arc church had excellent produce. The 'plat du jour' (dish of the day) in the fairly cheap restaurant we visited was a delight, since the French kitchen is of such a high standard.

The old town had many lovely old timbered buildings and it was great to wander round the streets and soak up the atmosphere. We were just having a stopover in Rouen on our way further south, so we didn’t have time to visit many of the attractions. It would be worth going back sometime to do that.

Rouen is full of interesting mediaeval buildings notably the cathedral. The city centre is largely pedestrianised and easy to walk around. Public transport if required is effective and good value. Many fascinating small shops. The Musee de Beaux Arts is a major national art gallery with many impressionist paintings. It is a 'must see'. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants. The riverside lacks character but the city centre is exceptional. We decided that we must return again as there is so much to see, and we like the feel of the place.

Rouen is a great city, compact so everything accessible. But don't visit on a Monday - most things are closed. The ceramics museum ws surprisingly good. Our dinner was very disappointing despite it being the No 1 on tripadvisor

Very interesting city to walk around.
Very interesting city to walk around. Old time area is quite small and can be easily covered in half a day. We visited on a Sunday when shops, etc. were closed so did not have a fair picture of the city.
Hotel location was excellent and has a clean and welcoming atmosphere. All Reception staff were superb and came out of their way to assist us by every means. The room was big and the bed was comfy and clean actually the best I had during my vacation. The walking shower and the water flow was very good. Our short stay at The Radisson Blu Hotel in Rouen was the best we had during our two days trip to Normandy.
It was an excellent apartment, the best one in my entire trip to France. There were two bedrooms with provided privacy for everyone. The location may seen a little off the city centre, but it has the convenience of access to all T1, T2, T3, and T4 Teor lines. It was very quite at night. There were 5 heaters in the apartment.
