It was really hot at the time, and they provided fans. Spacious bathroom with bathtub. Long Balcony. Some of the Asterix characters show up in the morning to take pictures, so very nice for the kids. Very comfortable room and bed superb, bathroom very good. Hotel excellent atmosphere throughout. Staff helpful all along. Good Air Con in hot weather important. Breakfast good, plenty of choice (you are booked into a timed slot for breakfast). Very nice environs - canal, decor, very atmospheric in the evening.
