We loved the property - really interesting and spacious chalet set in a very friendly village. A very old structure which had been completely renovated and sympathetically restored. It had everything you might want in terms of equipment and was huge so all of us, including our dog, had plenty of space to ourselves. Close to the border with Switzerland and with lots of brilliant walks in the area. We have never returned to a place we have stayed but this property may well become the exception.

La Courrone is a very nice little hotel. What makes it special is the host (sorry, I wrote her name down but can't find it). She treated us like family.. She went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met and made us feel very welcome. The room was very nice and quiet.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to illness, but our host directed us to La Poste 1900 which was a very fine restaurant. We had a mushroom in sauce starter, a carafe of wine, and two "small" pizzas (which were huge!). All excellent and all for 43 euros. Crazy inexpensive!
