This was a beautiful, extremely comfortable hotel. Brilliant staff, fab facilities.. the spa was excellent and the public areas were stunning.
Our room was spacious and very luxurious..superb bed... maybe pillows could be softer? And bathroom was large and well stocked.

Les Baux-de-Provence is undeniably a stunning landmark with its dramatic cliffs, historic ruins, and breathtaking views. The charm of the medieval village and its surroundings is truly something to behold.
However, it's worth noting that the prices for basic goods and services in the area can be quite shocking. From restaurants to water bottles, the cost of everything seems to be significantly inflated. While the village itself is worth a visit for its beauty and history, be prepared for sticker shock and plan accordingly.
Enjoy the sights, but be cautious with your spending to avoid the exorbitant prices charged by some establishments.

You need a car to take advantage of Les Beau and its environs. The castle and "village/hamlet" of Les Baux can be walked through in a day. More joy lies in exploring the surrounding villages and towns -- Mouries, Maussane, Paradou, and down to St. Martin le Crau. I found the exploration very worthwhile; beautiful to visit, excellent small markets, and a true southern France feel.

Two tips when you are travelling around les Baux de Provence...
Two tips when you are travelling around les Baux de Provence: first you shouldn't miss the show at Les Carrières de Lumière. The location is breathless and the show (the main painter is changing every 6 months, we saw Dali, Klimmt and Van Gogh the past two years). And Second, wake up early and go to visit this old village around 9 O'Clokc. The streets are emplty and you can benefit of the fantatstic morning light to admire the stunning panorama from the top of the old Castle. As the restaurant was closed because of Covid we wnet to the nearby city in a fantastic "a la bonne franquette" pizza place in Maussane : Pizza Brun. The pizzas are amongst the best I ever eat.

Stunning hotel complex. We stayed in a truly, old, authentic provencal house surrounded by beautiful gardens and pools. The hotel restaurant is in a beautiful, relaxed setting. Staff were extremely helpful - we ate out in the local (Les Baux) village and the hotel arranged the meal and provided transport for us.
A beautiful country hotel outside Arles. The grounds and pool and restaurant area are charming and calm. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was superb. It was a perfect location to explore the countryside and visit Arles, St Remy and the Carmague
Le Mas D'aigret was a great hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool and dinner at hotel was excellent.
Location is walking distance to Le Baux hilltop village. Rooms are nice. Ample parking for cars.
