This is an example of a very good very simple basic hotel. The room was simple but very comfortable with adequate amenities. They had quite a nice breakfast. Communication was excellent and the were kind enough to let me use the single car garage that they have for 20 euros. The staff was extremely helpful and the location couldn’t be better; right next to Les Halle’s market and a quick walk to the beach and dozens of little restaurants and bars

A beautiful hill village ideal for walkers - very quiet, we...
A beautiful hill village ideal for walkers - very quiet, we didn't see any shops in the village though so car required. Very convenient for the motorway France/Spain. Not many places to eat when we were there in late April. We ate in our hotel - Les Jardins de Bakea which was FANTASTIC! Just superb.

Had previously stayed at hotel and been very impressed. Unfortunately this year we were left a little disappointed, especially with the restaurant. Ate on two occasions, one lunch and one dinner. Although shown on the menu about half of the ‘mains’ were not available. Thus had to make do with what was available and to our tastes. Also seemed to be a bit light on the ground for staff

Dinner was super. Breakfast was slightly disappointing as I like to help myself from a buffet, but the hotel that day had a large group who where placed in the breakfast area. We could have everything we wanted but I love seeing the choices :( Still we had a good stay and will return

The staff at the hotel were exemplary. Very welcoming and attentive. The room was large and comfortable and very suitable for a wheelchair user. The meals in the dining room were first class and the location excellent.

Excellent hotel with first class restaurant. A tranquil setting with lovely views over the valley. First visit but certainly not the last. Well located for visiting the San Sebastien and Biarritz areas.
