Very welcoming staff. The King room was simple and functional with a very comfortable bed. It looked over the countryside and was very quiet at night. We slept very well.
Everything was spotlessly clean.
Private parking was easily accessible.
The restaurant was excellent: interesting, sophisticated food and professional staff in a lovely room. Good value for the quality.
Fantastic breakfast with lovely local jams and juice. Also good value.
It was a brilliant stopover en route to Italy. We will be back!

I was there for only 12 hours. I stayed there when en route from Paris to Geneva, because accommodation in Geneva is very expensive. Bellegarde-s-V seems to be a very good centre for visiting Geneva, Annecy and other places.

Inside it is a friendly and interesting building with much wood and stone, and few straight lines. The bedroom was large under a sloping roof. Quietly located at the very edge of town with attractive local walks on quiet roads. Conveniently close to the autoroute. If you are bored with standard boxy hotels, this is perfect place for you.
