The property is located in the article circle hiking area, and it is marvellous to see. We stayed in the 4 people hut as there was a large private sauna included, which is very much needed in the winter lapland temperatures. The hut is also very characteristic and adds to the charm of the area. The property also offers a jacuzzi in the open air (90 euros for 90 minutes), which was surprisingly nice also at -20 outside. The hut has all the basic appliances for a cooking if you want and it was warm enough inside. In case you don't want to 6 are also eating options on site like a buffet formula or basic grill options menu.

Room was excellent and very well equipped for our stay. The view was simply spectacular from the large window out into the country side. Breakfast was excellent as were our other meals in the Rakas Restaurant.

We loved our stay here. The rooms aren't huge but it was gorgeous having an outlook into the snowy forest and we loved the sauna in the bathroom. The beds were super comfy and it was quiet. The restaurant was outstanding and the breakfast buffet one of the best we have ever had!

We loved feeding reindeer at the Santa Claus village and heating sausages on the outdoor fire, along with drinking hot chocolate! We loved the 2km husky sled rides too and the hiking trails in Vattunki Wilderness resort. Glow in the dark arctic mini golf was so fun too as was enjoying the views over the river in the snow. We also loved the Sushi buffet in Luckiefuns! We were sad to miss seeing inside the church though!
