Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.
The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.
Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75,000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.

In this city you can do whatever, wherever and whenever you want. Its like net of a huge variety of activities which can be done in the city. There are parks, old town, coast, modern office centres, quiet neighbourhoods and loud clubs, lots of bars and an amazing warm atmosphere.

Amazing architecture, both historic and modern.
Amazing architecture, both historic and modern. Narrow streets of Old Town full of cafes and people. Amazing choice of eating places. Watch out for tapas at reasonable prices on display at the bar, and for menus del dia.

We unfortunately arrived following the catastrophic floods.
We unfortunately arrived following the catastrophic floods. There was a real sense of community and support. Despite the tragedy we were made to feel welcome everywhere.
We enjoyed the beach area, the cathedral with the audio guide and Oceanografic were highlights. Walking around Barrio del Carmen is a must. Our favourite meal was at San Tommaso, but all of the restaurants were excellent, the paella is superb and Dulce de Leche is a must for sweet treats!

Valencia is a beautiful, picturesque, clean and green city.
Valencia is a beautiful, picturesque, clean and green city. It is well worth a visit. It is Easy to get around in either on foot, bicycle or with public transport. The city park is green and really awesome and a very clever concept.
I have been to other Spanish cities but Valencia is a city with heart and is somewhat peaceful and calming, albeit busy with lots of people. I felt relaxed and safe and never needed to look over my shoulder once, this compared to BCN for example is quite something.
We did a good blend of both Tourist attractions/ restaurants and local activities. The Science centre was interesting, but I am glad I went to the Oceanografic Park. I learnt so much more there and with some fun and a laugh WOW!!
Definitely book a Flamenco evening with Gourmet dinner, at the family owned restaurant - El Toro y La Luna. The dinner was exceptional and plentiful, the service great and the dancing was incredible with heart felt passion. Performed by family members too.

Located in a busy ring road around the old town it is easy to find a taxi when needed or walk directly into the old town. Also the rooftop bar was among the nicest I’ve ever seen, very comfortable. The place is generally an Ibis-style, nondescript but functional place for a short stay. The lobby and breakfast area also remind one of a boutique-style hotel.
This is a beautiful hotel. The location is excellent, allowing an easy stroll through the Old Town. Lots of restaurants and boutique shops around. The staff were very friendly and helpful- best hospitality of the places we have had so far. The experience was very calming. Can recommend.
Fab location, really unbeatable in that respect and the desk is manned 24/7. If the price is as cheap as chips and you really don't mind hostel style noise or fittings then go for it, if you want a hotel, hotel then not this one
The location of this stylish boutique hotel is amazing! In the middle of the old town but peaceful and quiet. Super friendly staff! We will be back :-)
