Walking distance from the train station. Spacious, clean rooms and comfy bed. We decided in the hotel to book breakfast extra, which was a good choice with a varied selection like scrambled eggs, muesli, joghurt, fruits etc. Lobby is inviting to spend some time with comfy chairs and even tables if you had to do some work.
This hotel is conveniently located in the modern area of Tortosa, with excellent connections it is very close to the commercial and cultural centre of this beautiful city

Impressed by how bike-friendly the hotel is. You are allotted your own box in the underground garage. Dinner was very good. Comfortable, large room and quiet despite overlooking the roundabout.
Enjoy a historic setting and magnificent views from this 10th-century castle, carefully restored as a luxury hotel but still retaining much of its original charm.

Everything was great: the historical venue, the location and the room.
Located in Tortosa, 49 km from Els Ports and 2.2 km from Tortosa Cathedral, Casa monumental con encanto provides accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building.

Access to the city of Tortosa by foot means climbing a lot of stairs, you can also park your car in a parking space near the entrance of the parador just before the castle walls to be on the same level as the city.
Tortosa is not very special (except the cathedral) there are some monasteries in the proximity (like Poblets) which are spectacular for a visit as well as the Ebro river side close to the sea (boattrips etc).

We went to Cocteria Xapla on Sunday evening - one of the few places open. Nice riverside views and food was good - not exciting - goats cheese salad and standard calamari - the deep fried spinach with cheese was interesting.
The Green Way route heading North was a real disappointment - kilometers walking by a nondescript canal and industrial warehouses with barely a tree in sight - don't bother unless you are on an electric bicycle. The calas (small bays) near Ampolla are much nicer - there are a few to choose from about a 30 km drive away and the sand dune walk at the edge of the Ebro Delta was also very beautiful.

A very interesting town to wander around, yet quite compact and easy to get around on foot. Full of interesting old buildings, nooks and crannies. Unfortunately a lot of the old city is in disrepair, but some renovations are being done. It'll look great when it's finished!

We travelled to Tortosa to see some friends, otherwise we would of done this trip in the summer, so I believe that we would have the opportunity to enjoy it better, once the summer weather would make a big difference due to the outside activities we were able to enjoy. This time of the year was very could but even though was nice to visit the city.

Carol and Keith are great people as much as great hosts, they made us feel home. Casa de Bello is a really nice country place in a convenient spot (just 10 mins driving from Tortosa), you can enjoy the peace of the countryside being just few km far from the town. Rooms are cozy and full of details, amazing comfy beds, very good breakfast, basically we can't wait to come back to spend more time with them and their adorable dogs! Highly recommended.
Staying in the historical part of town made it easier to access points of interest. The host was friendly and accommodating. The bed was quite comfortable. The kitchenette was useful. Tortosa is a city steeped in history and culture and is easy to explore.
We love this hotel. The staff are always pleasant, friendly and helpful and make us feel like we are home. Parking is great. Location is close enough to main shopping area but also far enough away. Rooms are good size and very clean.
