Llanes is a beautiful characterful town with wonderful beaches in the vicinity. There are lots of places to eat and drink in picturesque narrow streets. There are lovely coastal walks and wonderful mountainous scenery inland. Highly recommended.

Quite a nice village, but we preferred other places on the Asturian coast. The beach was nice (but no sunloungers). Great walk to Poo beach (worth it for the picture with the sign!), which is an amazing family beach. You do have to watch out for dog poo when walking.

Interesting seaside resort very popular with Spanish families. English not widely spoken so perfect for anyone wanting to practice speaking Spanish (which I did). What more could you wish for. A lovely town with 3 wonderful beaches. Lots of local food and restaurants. 3 supermarkets. You have the mountains behind you and the sea at your toes. Clean sand, there is no litter or trash left around. Beautiful old town. Lovely cliff walks. Pretty little beach. We only stayed one night, because we are on the move, but could easily have stayed another 1 or 2 nights. The location of the hotel could not be better, overlooking the pretty beach and on the edge of the old town. The hotel is lovely, and the staff really friendly and helpful. Our room had a fabulous view and was spacious. The rooms generally could be modernised with charging points. It was difficult to have a shower without soaking the bathroom floor. Very disappointing and relatively expensive breakfast in the attached but separate restaurant below the hotel. If you have time, save your cash and stroll into town for your breakfast.AndySprodUnited Kingdom
