The hotel was easy to find with plenty of car parking. Our room was spacious with a lovely private terrace . We ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, which were both very good.
Although the hotel was not in the centre of town, it was a very easy(flat) 10-15 minute walk, depending on how long you took enjoying the various statues and gardens along the way.
We would definitely stay here again.

The decor was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very varied with plenty of good food. There were a few issues for me however. On arrival after a long day my door key did not work and on several occasions during my stay. There was no tea making facilities only a fancy coffee machine. All right if you drink coffee. I was told at reception to buy tea in the bar. The staff in the main area were not helpful and a little unfriendly .The other staff were nice. The final straw for me was on my second day my room was not cleaned. I would not stay hear again.

A town synonymous with sherry, dancing horses and motorsports, Jerez de la Frontera also features the typical Andalusian traits of gorgeous sunshine, elaborately painted tiles and rhythmic flamenco.
The latter was reportedly born here and the town is home to the Andalusian Centre of Flamenco. Nearby is the ‘bodega’ of Harveys, one sherry brand offering wine cellar tours. Others include Pedro Domecq – the oldest – and Tio Pepe, whose fame stretches worldwide.
Horse statues are found all over town and a park houses the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, a dressage riding school offering public performances. The annual Jerez Horse Fair is an even more spectacular event that takes over the whole town. The town also teems with bike enthusiasts during the Spanish Moto GP, on a circuit which also hosts pre-season F1 testing.
Other sights include Jerez Alcázar, an 11th-century Moorish castle, and the multi-faceted cathedral which is beautifully lit at night. Plaza del Mercado has the archaeology museum and part of the city walls surround the historic centre. The Hammam Andalusí offers a wonderful Arab baths experience, and the Cartuja monastery provides more soul food.

I stayed in the old town. The cathedral, the churches and the old style buildings are all beautiful. The restaurants, even the smallest ones are excellent. The town was very busy because of the Christmas celebrations which created a very lively atmosphere.

There are many good places to eat in at Jerez. We left the car at the hotel and used taxis to move around. There are many interesting cultural activities and many Bodegas to visit and taste the top quality wines produced in this area.

We drove to Jerez from Cadiz where we had just had 2 great days. Jerez disappointed us. We wouldn't return. Our hotel was great but not much else. The old town is like a living museum. I came to wonder whether it WAS a museum and that all the shop/bar/restaurant staff were museum employees. It is like the town is stuck in a time warp. This is fine for the actual museums/churches/grand buildings/squares - you want those to be authentic. But we couldn't find any shops or bars or restaurants that we wanted to give our custom to. Service was poor, food was inedible and the shops still seemed to have 1950s stock! The only highlight was a Sherry bodegas tour we did and if that is your thing, then there are many to choose from! Oh yes, and you couldn't visit the cathedral at all without paying an unreasonable entry fee! Weird!

Take time to walk around as much of the wider town as possible not just the old town. Hidden gems of architecture, bars and sherry houses all over the place. Learn about sherry by taking a tour in a small bodega.

Old town had historic sites and plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Particularly enjoyed the Flamenco at Tabanco de Pasaje and the tour at Bodegas Tradición. Good base for visiting other areas through day trips. We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Easy to walk round as centre not too big. Can be in Cádiz in 40mins by train.

The location is really good once you find your bearings , about a 10 minute pleasant stroll to the City centre but there are a few decent bars and restaurants nearby if you don't fancy the walk. The hotel is more of a business hotel than a holiday hotel and the parking facilities are an absolute must. The rooms were typical and the breakfast was excellent .
