Can Pastilla, in the midst of it all!
Location is definitely one of the best assets of Can Pastilla, just a 5-minute drive from Palma de Mallorca Airport and a 10-minute drive from Palma’s Old Town. Although today sun lovers populate its golden beaches and hotels, Can Pastilla was only a small fishing village 60 years ago, no more than a hamlet centered around the small San Antonio de la Playa church. It's also fair to say that Can Pastilla is relatively calmer than other resorts in the area.

Lovely area, not many bits. Lots of bars restaurants on the front, nice beach. Taxi rank short walk from the beach front and short taxi ride approx 20€. We tried to walk as google maps shows you can from the airport but you can't due to motorway to cross. Drinks and food reasonably priced and nice relaxed atmosphere. Most of the bars and restaurants were nice and there is quite a long strip to walk down front the beach to the marina area. Nice views around. Some high rise buildings but all low. Although close to tge airport, you do not feel or hear that.

The hotel was nice and clean, only one think, they need strong chemicals to use in the bathroom, the rest was very nice, yummy breakfast, I was surprised how much selection of food, very unusual for 3* hotel, the breakfast was very tasty , not far from the airport, 4 minutes by taxi, we arrived night time, the taxi is €15, if you arrive day time just take the bus for €5 per person, the hotel is round the corner from the beach, shops, restaurants!

The hotel facilities are quite nice, including the outdoor and indoor pool, rooms, bar etc. The area is very quiet with most of the population/tourist demographic being elderly. The only minus I would mention is the fact that there are no tapas served at the bar, which I believe to be an essential in a pool-side hotel bar in a Spanish island and the fact there is no drinks/food service after hours. It was peaceful pleasant calm and the people were so friendly kind and happy . It was lovely to be able to watch the sun goinf down eating dinner . Found an amazing place looking out onto the sea and marina - was calm and very good for lone travellers never once felt afraid or alone . Perfect for couples or anyone who wants a calm break away from fast pace life - calming and tranquil to a fault ! This Hotel is just perfect, the food is lovely, lots of choice for breakfast and evening meal, good standard. Every member of staff is polite and cant do enough for you. In my opinion this hotel could easily be a four or five star establishment. Can Pastilla is a lovely resort, quiet and with a chilled vibe, and best of all its 10 mins from the airport! We got there before 11am and asked if we could leave our luggage so we could go for something to eat and drink. They gave us our all inclusive bands so we could use their facilities and said they had a room ready so we could check in straight away. All the staff were excellent and positive. We could not fault this place for a getaway. The price was excellent and the location was very convenient for the airport, the beach and trips to Arenal and Palma.
