We were treated exceptionally well by the staff throughout. I was staying with my wife and 2 young daughters. They worked with us to create an excellent itinerary for our weekend break. The food at the Saigon restaurant was amazing. All in all we could not fault our stay - we just wished we could have had longer to enjoy the hotel.

Cairo is an exceptionally noisy city at any time of day or night. The hotel is located in a bustling area within a historic building. This combination, along with the original wooden windows, means a high level of noise in the rooms is guaranteed. The only effective solution is earplugs. It is very well located in Downtown Cairo. There are many restaurants, shops and cafes around. The hotel is in a very busy street which is great to see Cairo's daily life. The room was quiet enough for the location. The room had a nice balcony with great views of Cairo's Downtown. The hotel is very close to the Egyptian Museum and Tahrir Square. It is in walking distance form Ramsis Station and Old Cairo.
The hotel has quite some charm, you feel like you are back in the 1930s. The breakfast was nice.
