The boat trip is a must - very good, lots of places visited and tour guide excellent in explaining the sites. We used the 'classic' bus route to take us to take us there and got on at Nyhavn - lovely place to see. Also a must is Rosenburgh Castle (the artifacts inside are amazing), Tovili Gardens is a lovely place - spent a few hours there, The Round Tower is also great. Paper Island is good to visit and also the man made lakes. A good restaurant to eat at is the Olive.

It is a nice city filled with many activities and sites to see. The city in general caters for children as well as adults. Public transport is amazing and always on time. We used the Copenhagen card, which might not be worth it if you are only going to see a few attractions. Consider that it's very busy and waiting in line takes up a large portion of each attraction, so you don't get to fit in as much as you might have planned.

After years of thinking about going, we finally booked a long weekend, and we weren't disappointed. We went with a very loose itinerary which included a few food spots and touristy bits as was easy to stumble across new restaurants and bars. Our highlights were... Donda, Meat Packing District, WarPigs, Netto boat cruise, SMK, Museum of Copenhagen, Glyptoteket museum, Church of Our Saviour spire, Tivoli gardens, Thorvaldsens Museum

    Beautiful city.

Beautiful city. We only had a very short time to get the first impression of it, but I would certainly love to come back. Renting a bike seemed like a recommendable idea for Copenhagen, as there are bike lanes everywhere and not a lot of hills. Most major tourist attractions are anyway within a walking distance. Quite expensive city, so keep that on mind when planning your trip. Very safe to wander around.

Striking, colourful and most attractive decor. Exceptionally comfortable room. Helpful receptionists. Very well positioned near to the station, the Tivoli and city centre. A big choice of good restaurants near by. We were offered 2 free beers each if we went without housekeeping for the two nights of our stay. We accepted the offer, enjoyed the beers and still had the rooms serviced. An excellent hotel. I shall book to stay here when next I visit Copenhagen.

Great location! Near Tivoli and the famous Stroget shopping street and look out for Doner Kebab restaurant on Stroget street. It's been around forever and my husband craves it every year. We've stayed in many hotels in Copenhagen throughout the years and this is our favorite. Historic design by Arne Jacobsen. Try to book the Arne Jacobsen Suite.
