I went there during the summer, so it was very vibrant with people eating and drinking on the patios and wandering around the little corners and alleys. It is a small city with big city attractions. It felt like the old Berlin before prices went bonkers. Arty and cool without trying too hard (not overly hipster). I stayed in Leipzig, purely because it is served by Ryanair and l wanted to visit Dresden, which is more expensive to reach directly from the UK. I then booked a reasonably priced 90min train to Dresden. So, with no particular aspiration about my host City, l found it a very pleasant stay. The Battle of Nations monument is a destination in its own right and the City itself (although largely rebuilt post ww2) was far more attractive than the ex eastern block centre that l was expecting. The pubs and bars are excellent and there are plenty of them, so my visit here was very enjoyable. Recommended.

Too bad Leipzig doesn’t have Uber established yet. Sixt was nowhere to be found “no drivers found” when using their app. Good thing Leipzig is easy to walk around.AAnonymous

It had everything and great for a family. I was expecting a normal hotel room but this was really a surprise. The place where is located is perfect. At the front there is a mall in just 5 mins you can be in the old city and enjoy all the interesting places of Leipzig. The breakfast is very simple but nice, the personal very helpful and kind.
