The town is beautiful, walkable, safe - with many fascinating shops, restaurants and outdoor cafes, public parks, delicious bakeries, and some impressive things for tourists to visit - two museums each of which was excellent (one had a touring exhibit of an internationally famous modern artist, the other is a local history museum which is fascinating), the Japanese garden, the synagogue memorial - which was beautifully thought out, understated, and sensitive - and because Kaiserslautern is so close to Ramstein, everyone in the shops and restaurants speaks English and they understand, and are kind to, confused American tourists! Everyone I met was courteous, helpful, friendly. Do not miss: the two museums, the synagogue memorial (very thoughtful, sensitive, and thought provoking), the beautiful churches, etc.CatherineUnited States - Scored 2.02.0
