Ettenheim is an easy town to get around.
Ettenheim is an easy town to get around. There are facilities all arounds, restaurants, shops, grocery stores. There is a lot of history in the old town to visit ; the church and cemetery are a good example. A short drive can take you to other villages and where you can eat in local gasthauses. The nature side of Ettenheim should not go unnoticed as many walking/biking paths take you all around to other villages. It is also very close to go to Europa park (10km) which not only boast a very large amusement park but magnificent hotels where to grab a drink or a bite.

There a couple of supermarkets close by but limited cafes or restaurants in walking distance at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly and there is free parking outside the front door. Breakfast was excellent and the bonus of a pancake making machine goes down well with any kids! So glad we chose this hotel.

There was no restaurant at the hotel, but a single restaurant nearby served us well (and quite friendly staff there). They accepted dogs, and had A/C in the rooms, which were major positive aspects that made us choose there.
