The rooms are not large but the area is quiet . Ample parking space in front of the Penzion. No breakfast but there is a restaurant attached with really good for lunch and dinner. An Albert grocery store is just next to the place so you can get all you want for breakfast and they have a vending machine for coffee at the store.
Trebic is well worth a visit. The Basilica of St Procopius is an architectural gem and the Jewish Quarter has been beautifully preserved.
Public transport is best managed from other large cities by bus, as train journeys often have to be broken with complicated changes. Not so good for those of us who are less mobile.
I took the Flixbus from Brno in the morning and was in Trebic in an hour.
The next day I took another bus to Prague and was there in two hours. If you're taking the Auto Bey bus from Trebic bus station to Prague you need to know it leaves from the side of stand 3, but technically outside the bus station, so the connection isn't on the departures board in the bus station building.
The town is in two halves on both banks of the Jihlava river, so don't miss the town square and the church of St. Martin, or the painted house.
Trebic also seems to have one or two good cafes as well - always good when you're walking around and need some refreshment.

The place is nice for one day, but in my own opinion it isn’t foreigner friendly. Not an easy place to reach by public transport, not to mention that the staff at train station are friendly, they gave us the most unfriendly service. The options for accommodation is limited, I would say it’s overpriced a bit compare to other cities, even Prague can offer a better accommodation for the same price I paired here. I would say it’s good enough for one day trip, and it’s better to come here with a Czech friend, otherwise you won’t really enjoy it.

Trebic is a small, yet interesting historic town in the Czech Republic.
I arrived on a Sunday when most everything was close, however, enchantingly quiet.
I enjoyed strolling to the various sites and meandering around the old Jewish quarter...very interesting.

I was just sleeping in Trebic for a night, because I was on a bike tour. But the beautiful buildings made a lasting impression, I would have gladly stayed for a couple of days to wander in the streets.

Trebic is nice small town with very pleasant atmosphere.
Trebic is nice small town with very pleasant atmosphere.
During summer, there isa lot of cultural activities to do.
We did like to eat in restaurant “Lihovar” - very good food / good price. Next to restaurant is small “Jaguar ” car exhibition - for car lovers. Restaurant “Nad Babou” is a restaurace, which you must to visit . The restaurant is desighned in folklor style; food is very good too.
Public transport is very good too.
It has a central location, the historic hotel itself has a charme, the rooms are nicely, with taste decorated. Bed was confortable. The receptionist was very kind, helping with us advices, booking restaurant, and helping with the parking. We were advised to leave the a car in a nearby location, which was only a few steps away and even had some coins for the payment. Breakfast menu good and the food was tasty. Drinks in the room are nice addition. Toiletteries are prvided and good quality.
Trebic is an interesting, quite big city. The Hotel is not in the center, but there is something, like an upper centre of the town. It is a quite standard, 7 stories hotel. I like these, especially in a longer travel, having one night, when everything is normal and standard. The panorama from the 7th floor had been great if it was not foggy. I liked the snow-white bed sheet and cover.
Excellent value for money; a clean and comfortable room. A great base for exploring the historic region including Telc, Trebic, and Jaromerice. The bar/cafe was downstairs and round the corner - a good atmosphere.
Perfect location right at the lovely square of Trebic with own private carpark, just a bridge walk from the Unesco Jewish quarter. Lovely breakfast in the pizzeria downstairs.
