Fantastic breakfast. The room was clean and basic but sufficient (we chose the budget room, for one night on the road from Italy). Very kind staff. Heating was on, as it was a cold night. Great castle grounds/public park for a walk with the dog.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area some ten minutes off Lednice Palace on foot. The building is unassuming but well-equipped. The breakfast is really nice and varied, though the ground-floor dining hall is not too spacious and could easily get congested if several groups come at about the same time. The 8 to 10 time slot is acceptable, though it also contributes to potential congestion. There is a lift, which makes moving about the building even more convenient, while the insulation is good and the guests do not disturb each other. We had a bedroom bathroom kitchen with couch/bed suite, which was well-equipped; guests are encouraged to cook their lunch and dinner (electric stove, microwave oven, water boiler, dishes and cutlery). The location of the hotel allowed us to make a day trip to Brno and visit neighbouring attractions (Lednice Palace being top of the range, of course). There is a 24/7 Coop just around the corner and a food and department store run by Oriental staff opposite it, with an excellent selection of food, drinks, and small toys. Both were open on New Year's Day; the former in a self-service fashion, the latter properly staffed.
