this is a magical place. it you are looking for an outstanding experience in the nature and with warm hearted people you will be happy here. the food was amazing and you will eat with the few other guests of the hotel and the hotel owner joins you sometimes as well. it is a very peaceful and chilled place & atmosphere. the perfect weather conditions if you like to be in the wild, the sound of birds, waves, rain & thunderstorm.

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Hotel Meraki. The location at the end of Guachalito beach is spectacular. The staff are exceptionally warm, helpful and accommodating. The food is really excellent: lots of local fresh fish prepared in a variety of ways and presented beautifully. Daily support arranging local activities is really helpful and charged at reasonable prices. Would highly recommend!

Oscar is a really nice host who also speaks english which makes it easier if you are not that good at Spanish. He can tell you a lot about Colombia, Nuquí and life in general. The location is beautiful, it felt like paradise. One day we saw dolfins just 50m away from the coast. Boats, trips (whale watching!) can be organized directly by the host. The two housekeeping ladies are so friendly and heartwarming - they prepare really nice food for you and even can handle vegetarians and intolerances. All in all Nuquí is the most beautiful place I have been to, there are only few tourists and you really get in touch with nature in a very special way. 10/10 experience!
