Our room was clean.
Note that the so called parking is a super market parking, where everyone parks for free and it’s open to any passer by. But the hotel will make guests pay for the super market parking.
The attitude of some staff and the management are not very professional, they will probably try to deny the facts instead of taking seriously the many negative comments on their attitude.
The lady at breakfast was the only nice one.

Losone is the underrated, non-touristy part of Ascona and...
Losone is the underrated, non-touristy part of Ascona and Locarno. It is, therefore, where many residents live because it is quiet, with great access to the Maggia river. The best tip is to walk along the river. It is very well connected by bus, so if you want an area that is safe but above all affordable, then this is the area to stay. Ascona is expensive for what is literally a 5 minute bus ride away. From Losone you can equally head to Locarno as well as Ascona, or indeed go into one of the many valleys.

Losone is a good place to explore valleys like Maggia, Verzasca, Onsernone, Bavona, Centovalli etc. for hiking, taking a bath in one of the rivers, pools, waterfalls. Also a lot and good Grottos to eat nearby Casa Kosamui. What is a bit annoying is the heavy traffic when you come down from the highway in Sant Antonino and Cadenazzo in directing to Locarno and there is no other road to avoid the rush hour.

The apartment is spacious, bright and perfectly located if you wish to travel through the full valley. You can even go by foot to the harbour of Ascona which is 2.1km. you also have tank station, supermarket, bakery....around the apartment in the losone village so it is wonderful.
