It was very clean. The sofa bed was comfortable. Usually sofa bed in other hotels are not comfortable but this one was amazing. I also like our unit so much and that there’s a connecting room. It was perfect for our family.

The location was perfect, offering stunning coastal views right from the windows. It's just a short walk from both the beach and the city center, making it incredibly convenient. The house itself was impeccably equipped for a family vacation, with every amenity you could possibly need. It was evident that the hosts had put considerable effort into ensuring every detail was just right. Throughout our stay, they were incredibly responsive and attentive. The well-stocked kitchen made cooking meals a breeze, and the overall ambiance made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

We loved the location close to the Wild Pacific and Lighthouse trails! CJ was super helpful and a pleasure to meet. The complimentary local coffee house coffee made in the provided French press was fabulous. The special touches, like the local lavender soap and lotions, and candy on the pillows were delightful touches.

Most attractive is the location directly to the ocean and the rain forest. Due to the influence of the ocean it can be a little foggy in the morning. We had some excellent sunny days 15-19C. Nice trails in the forest and close to ocean. We were told, to watch out for bears, we did not see them, but they seem to walk through the small town looking for food. Far out in the ocean we spotted some whales.

    Wonderful spot for nature lovers.

Wonderful spot for nature lovers. The Lighthouse trail on the Wild Pacific Trail was stunnng. The restaurants were plentiful and the drive to Tofino was well worth it. The Rainforest loop near Tofino was challenging with all its stairs (Trail B) but it was great exercise!. The Barkley Cafe has awesome coffee and food, we went twice!

The entry to Ucluelet from the Tofino side is not welcoming at all. It’s a bit run down. But that shouldn’t put you off because there are some nice places to eat, a good bakery, and amazing walks. The Wild Pacific Trail is a must. Also, as you get deeper into Ucluelet it is less rundown. They should work on that first impression though.

Ukee is a great little town.

Ukee is a great little town. Although we bought a piece of art there, it offers much wilderness than shopping opportunities. In addition to its unpretentious charm, Ukee offers a more pocket-friendly experience than its neighbour, Tofino, in our experience (although everything is more expensive here than the rest of Vancouver Island.) However, both places have incredible beaches and forests, and bookend the National Park with a trail between the two towns. Just be warned that the last part of the highway is an adventure before you decide to turn left to go to Ukee or right to go to Tofino. I loved driving it with my "Mario Andretti" mindset, which wasn't that pleasant for my husband, LOL. It's windy, narrow, and bumpy in parts, and if you have a slow poke in front of you (which we had on the way back), it can be incredibly frustrating.

I loved Ucluelet a whole lot more than Tofino, it isn't as touristy and "plastic", like the difference between Banff and Jasper, I always prefer the place closer to nature. Maybe doesn't have all the sandy beaches, but one can easily drive to it. I'd love it if the information about the length of the walks to beaches etc. were more clear, even on the hike, like where we are now and how long to go etc. Beauty in abundance, I loved every minute of it, I remembered it from 10 years ago and it was even better now. I'd love to come back for more and be able to just sit and listen to the ocean. Please, please don't let it become Tofino where you can't enjoy what rightfully belongs to the public without paying more than you can afford! I love Ucluelet! <3

Ukee is great place to visit any time of the year.

Ukee is great place to visit any time of the year. The beaches are more rugged than Tofino which makes for dramatic storm watching on windy days. There are some good restaurants and a grocery store, liquor store etc. If you're looking for raging night life, this is not the place. If you're into being outside, it's great. There are tons of trails, beaches and lookouts to explore.

We loved our stay. The room was very beautiful and clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the tub was exquisite. The property is very close to all Ucluelet amenities, and the Wild Pacific Trail was just a few minutes away, closer than we initially realized, especially after our amazing hosts, Dianna and Glenn pointed out the short cut! We had the greatest stay and have already started planning our next visit. A and highly recommended.

This is a well-run accommodation in a quiet part of Ucluelet. We met the owner Molly on departure, she is a very pleasant communicative woman. There were maps in the room and useful information about dining and excursions in the area.
