The room was clean and comfortable. They accept DOGS. :-) The parking is in front of the room, which is good for those who travel with lots of luggage. A good breakfast is included in the price.

We really liked the location of the hotel right on the waterfront and really enjoyed driving around the immediate area of the hotel. We had little time to experience the city itself but on our short drive through downtown and suburbs we felt that it was a nice place to live.

I was very impressed by rivière du Loup.
I was very impressed by rivière du Loup. Ithh be is a small town ..20-30 k people.. but it has a lot going on, many restaurants for a town that size, very clean, it’s hilly so it’s nice . We ate at Mikes downtown. We drove from there to Québec City, but took small highway 133?or 139? Very nice drive along St l Lawrence River.. we found a nice restaurant for breakfast in another town

Great location if you are driving thru, and wonderful restaurant. Even if it's room service, although leave lots of time to get thru and get your order in - takes a while. Totally worth it. Lots of parking. Confusing hotel layout, elevators not clear, not a lot of signage indicating where to go. The pools area looked nice, but we did not have time to use it.

However, many drop in travellers turned away because of the high cost $ compared to normal - reason -- Labour Day weekend!!??

Sweet town!
Sweet town! Very friendly people, including French-speakers in the city park who explained petanque to us and invited us to play, little downtown hip cafes and shops, nice hike on to very respectable cliffs with waterfall, very mellow riverfront park. An expected treat!

What a lovely hotel in a beautiful location.
What a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. We were just staying the night while traveling from New Brunswick to Ontario, but I would love to return some day to tour the area more. The hotel was clean, modern and very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to help us enjoy our stay. The restaurant attached to the hotel was great and very reasonably priced.

- Very clean, no carpet in room.
- Medium sized bar fridge.
- One of the most comfortable beds in this trip out of a dozen hotels/inns!
- Pet friendly.
- Netflix and Amazon Prime streaming options built into TV (paid accounts required).
- Convenient location off highway with only a few minutes' drive to the lovely Parc de la Pointe for sunset.
Would stay here again.
Location was great. Compared to other hotels in the area this one definitely outranked others for the esthetics and value. We had one of the rooms without a view of the St. Lawrence so next time we stay we will pay a little more for a room with a view. We liked that we could park directly in front of our unit. The grounds are wonderful!
The coffee and the breakfast was excellent. They even had real maple syrup which was a treat for our pancakes. Also they had fruit which much of the hotels do not have. So it was great to have fruit with breakfast.
The only négative comment is that when you book through any company the hotel slways give you a room at the end of the corridor and through the window the only thing we saw was a cement block wall
