We went to Creston for a figure skating competition so didn't see much other than the arena :) but we enjoyed our time there and did check out a coffee shop (Buffalo's) before we left which we liked!

We are familiar with Creston from several previous visits spanning many years, with a camper, a motor home and motel stays. We have explored the surrounding area, the farmed countryside and appreciate local fruit and produce. The drive from Creston to the Kootenay Lake ferry is a favourite.

    Creston was a surprise.

Creston was a surprise. The town had much more facilities than we expected as couldn't find any hotels there to book but there were more motels and other accommodation there to cover the needs of the place. Lots of shops, theatre and other things to do there. Could have easily stayed more than one night. Great location when travelling from Kelowna and Calgary.

Creston was a beautiful place, the scenery was so nice. I went to a place called the mountain barn, all homemade everything, breads, cinnamon buns, the Donuts are incredible, soup etc. All kinds of coffee and tea, ice cream. This is the best stop for Breakfast or lunch. I will go back to Creston.

We always travel with a nightlight and did plug it in the kitchen..really helped in the night to get to the bathroom. Carrie provided ice cubes on request so we could enjoy a chilled drink on the patio...thanks! The mini fridge does have a freezer section so ice packs can get refroze for the next days travel. Always a good stay.

Sweet little industrious town. Lots of fruit places. Amazing little theatre. Grain elevators. I'm sure there is a lot more I didn't see. Good resting place to spend a night, or a couple of days to explore. Plenty of places to eat

What a lovely spot. Calming. Easy to find upon drive into Creston Exceptionally clean, large room. Private wifi for the duplex type cottage I was in. Chocolates on the bed. Fresh flowers in the room. A selection of dishes and kitchen supplies for simple meals. Tea kettle, coffee press, toaster in addition to microwave and fridge. A motion sensor nightlight in the bathroom. Balcony. View. Reasonable pricing. Charming young couple as hosts.

I was just passing though and needed a place to stay for the night. The room seemed fine enough and was dog friendly. Was charged a dog fee at check in. Small fridge, microwave and A/C in the room.

The seating area with the trees and pond make this place worth every penny. Who wants to spend nights inside a hotel room when it's nice outside.
