The room was okay. Just very old. The walls and facilities were very old and needed some renovation. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows actually were quite good. We had a good sleep. In general for one night it's worse to stay.

An amazing hotel with a great location! The staff were very professional yet friendly (special thanks to the Serbian gentleman at reception, unfortunately we didn’t catch his name). The breakfast was delicious, and on weekends it’s available until 12, so we could sleep in and still enjoy it. Spacious, clean rooms, and very pet-friendly (even in the restaurant). Thanks for a gift for our dog :) Highly recommended!

As the world’s largest diamond-cutting city, Antwerp (Anvers in French) is naturally affluent. It comes as no surprise then that fashion is also of utmost importance, so the shopping here is excellent. It may not be the cheapest place, but the quality certainly matches the price.
Another big business in Antwerp is the port, one of Europe’s largest. Take a cruise around to admire its scale. The Scheldt River leads from the port into the city, and on its banks are a handful of interesting museums and Het Steen, a medieval castle built to protect the city against Viking invasions.
A few streets back is the Grote Markt, a beautiful square flanked by the grand town hall and 16th-century guildhouses – a typically Belgian scene. Behind this is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Antwerp Cathedral, whose asymmetrical towers look down over Groenplaats, a tranquil square filled with pavement cafes. Belgian beer is legendary and the local brew is De Koninck, which packs quite a punch.
In the south of the city is the most unusual sight – Wilrijk’s huge Jain Temple, one of the largest outside India. A little further east is Antwerp Airport, efficiently connected by public transport to the Antwerp hotels, guest houses and apartments that are available on Booking.com.

I have been to the city of Antwerp on a few occasions and I would recommend it for a short trip on it's own or combined with another city. The city centre has interesting architecture of different styles as well as some good museums and a cathedral and travel is easy with a good tram, bus and Metro systems. The centre also has a good range of bars and restaurants available. I would certainly recommend a visit to Antwerp at anytime of the year.

Antwerp is on the rise.
Antwerp is on the rise. For an ancient city that has gone through so many changes, they are making more. We saw lots of construction at older sites, improving them for new uses. I think people have forgotten what a unique city this is. We added it to our itinerary that included stops in Amsterdam and Bruges.

Antwerp is a terrific base for day trips to Bruges, Ghent, Brussels. It's a lovely, walkable city with friendly people and lots to do: De Reede Museum's astounding collection of print works, the modern tapestries at Het Steen, St Anna's Tunnel (there's only a big park on the other side, so take a picnic), the myth behind the Branofontein (and all the other hand-throwers) makes the fountain my favorite in all of Europe, Museum Plantin-Moretus, The Royal Museum of Fine Arts. The James Ensor shows at the last two places complement each other beautifully. FYI, Antwerp is in the Flemish/Dutch part of the country, rather than the French-speaking Brussels and south areas. More English spoken than in Brussels, if that is important to you.

Impressive city centre/old town with a wide range of historic buildings, wide range of shops and restaurants. Quieter neighbourhoods, especially round the university, contrasts with the bustle of the main shopping streets.
Many of the side streets are quiet with little traffic. Drivers are courteous and considerate of pedestrians

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Antwerp
Perfect location for exploring the city, without being overwhelmed with the typical 'city centre hustle and bustle' There's some great restaurant's near by, especially the authentic Chinese selection beside the hotel. They range from functionary to smart and special, but all are authentic and original.
This was a business trip, so it's location is perfect for meeting guests, as the Hotel is right opposite the Antwerpen Centraal, which is the magnificent main train station for Antwerp.
The accomodation was clean and comfortable. I arrived in Antwerp during the evening by train, so when I realized the hotel is located literaly next to the train station, I was very pleased. The receptionist who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and friendly and gave me a bigger room than the one I booked, so that was a pleasant surprise. The Wi-Fi worked well, my room was cleaned with fresh towels every day, so everything was great! Thank you and see you again!
A very nice hotel in the center of Antwerp. Very convenient location: 5 min from the train station, 15 min from the University of Antwerp and 15 min from the old town. Cozy rooms with all basic facilities. Good breakfast! Very friendly staff. Overall a value for money hotel!
Very good hotel with good sizes rooms and amenities. On the same trip we also stayed at the Ibis Centrum in Bruges (not reviewed by me because it was booked by someone else).
The room in Antwerp was much better, and had a much less restrictive set up than the one in Bruges).
The room was gorgeous, very unique! The owners are friendly and attentive and provided suggestions and information.
The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the central train station, and walking distance to museums, etc.
I hope to stay there again the next time I am in Antwerp!
