The shared bathrooms were very nice and looked like new. Check in and out was good, along with the free parking. The room had everything you need, including a desk fridge and sink.

We arrived to see a very angry guest who like us could not park their car with in the complex and told to park out on the highway. The unit complex is a very old 60's Motel complex that has been tarted up, with some modern touches. We were charged $295 dollars per night for 2 nights so $590, which after Noosa was just ridiculous but we were stuck for options. The location is too far away from Tugun or Kirra Beach and you have along walk to either. Forget walking to supermarkets as you need to drive. We eventually found carpark but were stressed about taking the car out for fear of not being able to park again. The small motel unit was clean, with nice paint and wall paper and nice soaps. The staff were very pleasant and I felt sorry for them having to deal with dishonest advertising regarding the carparking. Also you are right under the airport flight path.

The host Frank was lovely, helpful and the service was great. His advice on the amenities and restaurants nearby was excellent. For what we needed the next morning was perfect; I had a bus stop nearby to get to Ballina and my partner had the airport across the street!

Tallebudgera valley is beautiful and close enough to get to places of interest while being out in the countryside.
Spent some time in Burleigh Heads where you can get excellent coffee from Paradox Coffee Roasters. Had a vegan lunch at Izakaya Midori in Reedy Creek, amazing Japanese food.
Visited David Fleay's wildlife park - well worth a visit.

Unfortunately as the weather was cyclonic, and we only had a 1 night stay we didn't get to see what the area was like. I can say that the location is absolutely beautiful, high up with amazing views ( as much as I could see through the driving rain). I would love to visit the area again. I found it easy to get to from the M1. One day, I will be back.
