Lots of amazing walks. The beach looked beautiful.
Lots of amazing walks. The beach looked beautiful. Sadly, we did not have time to go for a swim. The Caledonian pub was excellent, lots of character. I'd like to suggest that the opening hours of some restaurants in town were a little odd (only open for lunch, not open at all weekends) but they know their business better than I do.

Relaxing place to just sit, enjoy the sea, walk, eat, drink, read. Chilled vibe. Excellent breweries (Robe Town and Loophole). Friendly proprietors. Nice old pub. Lovely stone buildings and good history walks to take in.

Robe were planning for their annual Beer Festival the weekend we were there, which would have been fun to attend. It's the same weekend in October each year.
We went to the local pub opposite the beach which was very comfortable and had a mixed clientele including family groups, couples and singles. The staff were very friendly and the food was good. We had breakfast at the Union Cafe which was excellent.

Great cosy little cinema. Main street is full of gorgeous little boutique stores. Ice-cream shop is wonderful. Ice-ceam one side and hidden away next door cute little Lolly shop/handmade jewellery.
Camel farm 5 min up the road where you can watch camels being milked, feed the babies. Or go for a safari ride and feed the adult camels.

Our stay in Robe was wonderful, even in Winter!
If you don’t mind invigorating, refreshing walks on the beach and cosy romantic evenings in.
Robe is definitely a different seaside town to be in in Winter than the busy bustling place it is in the Summer months but, restaurants and shops are still open and you can still get a great coffee at several of the cafes in town.

Friendly greeting, clear instructions, lovely cabin with covered car park right next door, everything immaculately clean, big comfortable bed, fresh bathroom with fluffy sizeable towels, nice shower, floor standing electric heater, superb location overlooking the sea & easy walk to town & coastal walk. Robe is a beautiful largely unspoiled destination with great cafes, pubs, scenery & history.
Loved that they have an option for a pet friendly cabin! It was great to bring our dog and made me feel more secure being alone woman with my 10month old. And I LOVED the electric blanket on the bed! Definitely did it’s job on the chilly nights. We will 100% be back. Staff were so friendly and everything was super easy. We enjoyed our stay very much!
