George Town Central BnB new apartment, hotel in George Town

A recently renovated bed and breakfast, George Town Central BnB new apartment offers accommodations in George Town. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

The unit was so cosy, clean, and modern. Equipped with anything you might need for your stay, even the little things like boardgames. Bed sheets, blankets and towels were plentiful, clean, and soft. The attention to detail was wonderful and we loved finding fresh eggs and milk upon our arrival too. Ros (our host) was also soooooo amazing and made us feel so at ease and at home.

Beauty Point Tourist Park, hotel in George Town

Featuring garden views, Beauty Point Tourist Park in Beauty Point features accommodations and a garden. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking, and free Wifi.

EVERYTHING. It was absolutely a wonderful stay for us. Beauty Point is quiet, comfortable and fabulous. The cabin was clean and lovely. I especially loved the kitchen - it has everything you need. We occasionally saw wallabies outside eating grass which was cute. We enjoyed watching them. We also loved the walk in the park. We didn't see much river view through the window even though our cabin was waterfront but the surrounding environment is already gorgeous enough. Besides, you can easily walk closer to the river for a better view. Staff was helpful. Thank you indeed.

BIG4 Kelso Sands Holiday & Native Wildlife Park, hotel in George Town

BIG4 Kelso Sands Holiday & Native Wildlife Park in Kelso provides accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden.

Loved the warm welcome on arrival and the cabin we stayed in was very well presented. Everything we needed and more. Loved the thoughtful extras such as a washing basket, pegs, hand sanitizer and spray oil for the BBQ. Loved the personal outdoor BBQ and quiet, well spaced park. Plenty of activities to keep the kids happy. We booked at short notice during peak holiday time and we're so glad we did.

Very chilly, with a cold wind at the time of our visit, but we drove around so I could take photos of the many beautiful old buildings & homes. Spent a very interesting time at the Pilot Station museum , and cafe there, having a truly scrumptious lunch. The history and artifacts in the museum was far more interesting than i expected, and the guardian volunteers who "man" the entrance were so interesting in their narration. The Low Head area is lovely also, and our highlight of that area was the Penguin Tour at dusk on our first evening, and the absolutely great accommodation and food at the Comfort Inn, The Pier was beautiful, with the waterfront right outside our door.

From George Town we also visited Beaconsfield (Gold Mine) and Beauty Point (Sea Horse World - where there was a good restaurant) on the eastern side of the Tamar River traveling over the Batman Bridge. Nearby was the 'Bass & Flinders Museum' and Low Head Pilot Station (with cafe) and Lighthouse.

George Town is set in the most beautiful surroundings. The town itself has had a 'bad rap' in the past but is now through all that negativity and is definitely 'on the up'. All the people we met were very friendly and welcoming. A short car trip up to Low Head only reinforced the absolutely stunning beauty of the area. We loved it!

A small, neat tidy town with plenty of improvements being made, walking paths flat and easy to get around. History in abundance for those who are interested. A number of differing meal venues, all of good quality and availability.

From York Cove apartments, there is a sealed walkway all the way around to the township. George Town is 'coming of age' with the inclusion now of a few coffee shops and cafes/restaurants.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable for two adults and two teenagers. Location was very central and convenient, but also felt very peaceful. Cleanliness was top standard. Very highly recommend this accommodation, and George Town itself was a very relaxing little town with everything you need.

Lovely location overlooking York Cove with town centre around the corner and lovely waterside walks at your doorstep. Large rooms were a bonus as was hanging space which is sadly lacking in so many hotels and motels.
