Tirana is a black-friendly city to visit in Albania. My trip was really short and wished I stayed more days. If you visit Tirana, please ensure you make time for an Ice-cream adventure (Bonus tip: it is addictive😅😅 but worth every penny) If you are travelling from the UK, please change your pounds at the airport or in the city and pay with the legal tender (Leke). This will help you save a little money. Some of the Bus Stops are not named and a few times, google map did not work. Please be open to asking the locals for direction Language: According to google 40% of locals speak English. However, my observation was different for Tirana. The language barrier was a challenge so I will suggest you have Google Translate download on your phone and has the following language (Albanian, Italian, Spanish, and Greek) Accommodation: Staying someone central is advisable to reduce some travel time spent visiting tourist activity. Night Safety: On my last night, a man followed me in a sneaky way which made be furious and scared. Please be careful in the night. Weather: It was 37 Degrees Celsius when I visited. it is really hot in Summer so please have your water bottles to help keep you hydrated. Happy Touring TiranaNwadiuto - Scored 1010

Wonderful city and a hidden gem. Much better than expected. A lot to do and more to see. Day trips to areas around are a must do, particularly Berat. Too many restaurants and cafe to count and the coffee culture is in full blossom! The food is amazing with a lot to choose from. 2 days won’t be enough. 3 is ok, but 4 days will allow you to see surrounding areas.

The center of Tirana is not so big with the main highlights very close to each other. The city is very clean with very nice options of restaurants, some of them very hype. The city is very alive at night close to the Castle of Tirana. It is worth it to visit both Bunker'Art 1 and 2

Tirana was very busy but had a really nice vibe . A lot more cosmopolitan than I thought it would be. great shops and cafes and parks. A meeting of old and new where kids wear the latest clothes and old guys play dominoes on street corners
