It is one of the most dynamic places on this earth and a brand-new country from a historical perspective. Most things are new and appealing compared to ancient cities struggling with infrastructure upgrades. Here is a true leapfrogging in development! A brave new world. been there 8 times over last 9 years. Overall it too congested and busy.. Not the ideal place to relax, although it can be possible. Building and modern architectures are fascinating, but the traffic and getting around is a nightmare. If you rent a car, you need 1 or 2 others to assist with navigation and its immensely complex to get around. Its fun the first few times, but then it get old an tiring. Can be load of fun if you know what to do and plan ahead. Food Markets and restaurants are great-. Be aware, prices are not cheap. Summers are 50 C, so you have to be at the pool when outside. the swampy murky lagoon of the JBR is not ideal as the water is 35 - 40 Celsius HOT ! Its like being in a Jacuzzi. Go to Dubai from November to April. The weather is perfect-AlirezaDenmark
