Shepherds Tree Game Reserve is a lodge concession, located on the south western portion of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and 18 km away from Sun City. Pretty much everything. such a nice getaway from JoBurg. Stayed for one night and saw a lot except 🦁. Great staff and great rooms as well.

Ivory Tree Game Lodge is located inside the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Surrounded by plains and hills, this luxurious lodge boasts a outdoor pool and award winning spa. The place is gorgeous! The staff is very nice and welcoming! The food was also good (and I am a very difficult person when it comes to eating)!! I had several amazing game drives and my driver (Jan) was super fan and carrying; I really appreciate the efforts he put to make my experience throughout the drive incredible! I definitely recommend!!

Situated in Vryburg, Morakane Safari Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool. A really nice lodge halfway to the kgalagadi.

With Blue Tree Golf Driving reachable in 42 km, Rockfig Lodge Madikwe provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. We had the Lodge and the team for ourselves for two days. What a privilege! But also when other guests arrived for the two consecutive nights, the service level remained equally high. The whole team was out to make our stay special, from our guide Honest, who we shared some deep insights with: about the world in general and animals in particular. Pauline and Neo looked after all our service needs, while the chef and her team prepared one creative meal after the next. Even though we had a rainy and cold winter day, the team did their best to produce sunshine through their service, bringing lunch to the villa or providing a nice welcome drink by the fire after the game drive. The hide next to the villa, equipped with tea, coffee and cold drinks, was an extra benefit. We certainly enjoyed the different herds wandering through from the comfortable hide. The Villas, in a contemporary but comfortable style, cater d to all our needs, from an evening by the fireplace with a glass of wine to the morning tea. All that in a stylish, but warm and friendly environment. We certainly would consider Rockfig for another stay!

With garden views, Remhoogte Mountain Lodge is located in Jacksonstuin and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. Our 2 apartments were amazing and very spacious.

Situated in Madikwe Game Reserve, Tau Game Lodge provides luxury accommodation with air conditioning and access to a private deck. Complimentary WiFi is available. The staff were excellent, they made you feel straight at home and were extremely accommodating. We were never hungry, the food was fantastic and served in a creative way, one evening we had a brai in the bush; an amazing experience! The location next to a watering hole, meant that we had elephants directly outside our room and could watch a variety of animals drink and wash over lunch, you could watch and stare for hours. Lazarus our ranger was excellent, knowledgeable and patient with our many questions. He made us feel at ease around all animals. We also had a great massage, recommend the spa facilities for anybody interested.

With garden views, Impodimo Game Lodge is situated in Madikwe Game Reserve and has a restaurant, a kids' club, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Complimentary WiFi is available. Impodimo Game Lodge was perfect! We did the all-inclusive option. Everything was streamlined. The cottage was beautiful and had all the amenities. Cottage 4 was right next to a path where elephants walked frequently! All of the staff were lovely. On the game drives we were made as comfortable as possible with blankets and water. Impodimo has both a ranger and a tracker per vehicle, which provided a unique experience. Each game drive also had a stop for a beverage and a little snack.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Ukutula Lion Lodge is located in Brits. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. The accommodation will provide you with air conditioning and a terrace. The lodges are comfortable and very clean but more like a 3 star rather than 5. However, the full experience is way over 5 stars as the people and animals are phenomenal. The food was also of amazing quality with the only downside that you cannot choose what to eat, resulting in having the exact same main course two days in a row. But the highlight was the owner Jill and other staff members, all so very kind and helpful, that these things are totally unimportant! We got the opportunity to interact with the animals and that’s an experience that will be hard to top!

Set in the Black Rhino Game Reserve, Morokolo Safari Lodge Self-catering offers an outdoor pool with view of the Pilanesberg Mountains and a hot tub. The location and the facilities for a larger group. it was nice to have ample accommodation for separate family groups. it was peaceful and the surrounding nature. We felt that we were alone and no sense of being crowded with many other tourists. Friendly competent staff.
