Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. The game lodge is easy to reach from Cape Town. The facilities are nice and the game drives were very fun and we saw many different animals- including the Big 5. We were lucky to be guided by Hannes who was very knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining. His love and respect for the animals was contagious.

We had the best fun-filled weekend. The staff were all friendly, helpful and accommodating. The kids enjoyed all the activities. The forest walk is breathtaking. Food is delicious. Beds are comfy. The hot tub was amazing. The farm is stunning. Everything was explained in detail - great communication. The horses are well groomed and beautiful. My son loved the pony rides. We wanted a break to unwind where the kids won't be bored. This place is a true gem.. We will surely return

Nastanitev AfriCamps at Ingwe se nahaja v mestu Plettenberg Bay in ponuja bazen, vrt, teraso, razgled na gore ter brezplačen WiFi. I'm officially in love with Africamps. On my next trip to South Africa I would seek out more of their locations. (Although I usually travel solo - please create some solo travel friendly tents!) The tent itself is much cuter than I even expected. The bedrooms are separated by the living room/kitchen so gives privacy. The kitchen is well stocked and there is even drinking water provided which was much appreciated! The deck is huge and the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset. Deer regularly visit, which was just a treat. If you like to star gaze, at night at Ingwe you can just see so many stars. One of my favourite bonuses was the heated blankets on the bed. I would turn it on just before bedtime, and then crawl into a warm heated bed to end the day. The location is also perfect. If you are planning on visiting any of the local animal sanctuaries there is no better location. We were so close by to all of them! At only a 15 - 20 minute drive to Plettenberg you can easily head into town for anything you need. Just keep in mind there are no streetlights on the way back, and the camp is off the main road on some tiny unpaved roads so I recommend planning to get back before it gets too dark.
