Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. It's perfectly organised. From the moment you check in until the moment you check out. Staff: super friendly. Timings: on point. Quality of food: excellent. Game drives: wonderful! We saw a lot of different animals (too many to name). Separate pool areas for children and adults.

Set in Wilderness and only 1.1 km from Wilderness Beach, Serenity Ocean Lodge offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything. The host was very hospitable and gave us an upgrade to get a room with the view to the beach. Very clean,well maintained and modern place.

What a lovely place! The cabin was very special and cozy, we loved the nice extras you can add to your room, we had a cool game drive in the morning to enjoy the beauty of the farm

With Goose Valley Golf Club reachable in 14 km, Knysna Elephant Park Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Everything was perfect! Absolutely perfect! The elephants are majestic and the whole atmosphere at the lodge is incredible! Found myself sitting staring at the elephants for hours. Breakfast was very good. And the staff… Best staff I ever met! Each and every one of them is amazing and made our stay even more perfect. My top recommendation for sure!

Located in Plettenberg Bay and only 12 km from Goose Valley Golf Club, AfriCamps at Ingwe provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. I'm officially in love with Africamps. On my next trip to South Africa I would seek out more of their locations. (Although I usually travel solo - please create some solo travel friendly tents!) The tent itself is much cuter than I even expected. The bedrooms are separated by the living room/kitchen so gives privacy. The kitchen is well stocked and there is even drinking water provided which was much appreciated! The deck is huge and the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset. Deer regularly visit, which was just a treat. If you like to star gaze, at night at Ingwe you can just see so many stars. One of my favourite bonuses was the heated blankets on the bed. I would turn it on just before bedtime, and then crawl into a warm heated bed to end the day. The location is also perfect. If you are planning on visiting any of the local animal sanctuaries there is no better location. We were so close by to all of them! At only a 15 - 20 minute drive to Plettenberg you can easily head into town for anything you need. Just keep in mind there are no streetlights on the way back, and the camp is off the main road on some tiny unpaved roads so I recommend planning to get back before it gets too dark.

Amazing location, peaceful. Glorious views from your couch and bed. Perfect for sunrise. Tranquil surroundings and relaxed atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. Zebra's , birds and bush buck were amazing to see.
