Our family of 5 (two parents and three kids ages 13, 10, and 6) had an amazing stay here during our kids' February break. The house is exactly as described, and is lovely. Each of the 4 bedrooms has a beautiful view of the city and the ocean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the outside patio was beautiful. We enjoyed wine outside in the evenings, and the kids ate breakfast outside in the morning. The best part of our stay was the host, Sidónio. He was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. He had great suggestions for things to do and see on Madeira, and our trip would not have been the same without his suggestions!

Located just 40 km from Girao Cape, Victoria Ocean View Room provides accommodation in Ponta do Pargo with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a 24-hour front desk. It was a perfect ending for our hike through the island. Wine, electric fireplace, and magnificent view to the sunset in Atlantic Ocean. The place also has a small pool with a view to the ocean, but it was too cold for us to try it. The housekeeper, Maria, was very nice and helpful.

Waves Song - Cottage, a property with a garden, is set in Porto Moniz, 40 km from Girao Cape, 46 km from Santana's traditional houses, as well as 49 km from Marina do Funchal. Adorable cosy little cottage in a superb location! A stones throw away from the natural swimming pools, the supermarket and many restaurants and bars. With lovely outdoor hanging spots, with the terrace having great views of the sea. The house had everything you could need, with even 2 bathrooms, which was very convinient. The host was even so kind as to leave some typical treats for us. Also a huge plus is that it has it's own private parking. You can park outside the property for free if there is space, but this gave us peace of mind knowing we would always have a parking spot of our own, and that the car was safe.
