The location, view and staff were amazing. Away from pollution and the air is clean. The river and water fall is very close and can be reached by 3 minute walking. The food is healthy and they can cater our preferences.

With mountain views, Rainforest Mount Lodge is situated in Deniyaya and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, snack bar, garden and year-round outdoor pool. This family run place with cosy rooms is located within walking distance from the entrance to Sinharaja National Park. It offers an infinity pool with awesome views, some really sweet and playful dogs, and just in general a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the middle of the jungle. The family offers the following: - The cool Son brings you cold beer, helps and organises cheap local transport and is an amazing guide who helps you spot rainforest life (and get good photos of it), plus make sure you make it home in one piece. - The sweet Mom cooks some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Asking for the spicy option is highly recommended. - The kind Dad takes care of the place and kills any giant spider that may enter your room with a broomstick. Prices are reasonable and upfront in a remote paradise.

Sira's Chalets is beach front property offering air-conditioned chalets with a sea view terrace and free WiFi. It features a restaurant and garden with sun beds and hammocks where guests can relax. Extremely friendly and helpful host (Sampah) who always wants the best for his guests, high quality bed, very clean, quiet and directly at the beach. Unbeatable value for money at Mirissa beach :)

Cannelle Hill Cabanas is set in Deniyaya and offers a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The lodge comes with a satellite flat-screen TV. Breathtaking place. The cabana is situated on a hill top. The views are to die for. There’s a small stream running around the property & the sound of it is so soothing . The cabana is beautifully done with a small loft & with all the amenities. Very clean. The food was superb. Apparently the owner’s mother is the chef. 4 adults can comfortably stay.

So many good things to say, just a few of them: - any needs are addressed and help is provided quickly, - nice family that tries to provide everything for your comfortable stay, - apartment is totally stunning, great design and facilities are well-equipped, - kitchen has everything you need for cooking on a daily basis, - clean room and bathroom, cozy blanket and beautiful wall paintings drawn by owner himself, wi-fi is acceptable, very good AC fan, - you can see a lot of wild life since the house is in the jungle area (monkeys, chipmunks, many birds, river with crocodiles), - calm environment for quality rest, far from noisy roads, (exception - night from saturday to sunday), - room clean up every few days, - bike/bicycle rental and water delivery upon request for additional fee Overall, it's an amazing place to stay, I was carefully choosing and comparing many places in the similar price range in Weligama, and this one was the best option even though it's a bit far from city. You can totally go for it, won't regret!!!!!!!!!!!❤️

Located in Hiriketiya, the recently renovated Coconut Cabin - Hiriketiya Beach provides accommodation 2.6 km from Kudawella Beach and 5.6 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole. Location is great, at 2mn walking distance from the beach, close to great restaurants. The cabin was really cute and clean. Air conditioning is a must as it’s really hot in Hiriketiya.

This small boutique hotel is beautifully located in Mirrisa, with its small private beach and pool. The property is pleasant to spend time to relax. The rooms are very comfortable with amenities. The manager and staff are super friendly and ready to help. We would recommend their restaurant. The chef prepares delicious and healthy foods with local produce of a quality found at higher end restaurants. He can even adjust a meal for you.

Set in Mirissa in the Matara District region, Cinnamon View Lodge Mirissa features a balcony. It is located 2.1 km from Weligama Beach and provides room service. Great quiet cabin 5-10min away from Mirissa. Property is on a hill (road is bumpy so take it easy when you drive there) and the cabin is in the backyard of the owners' family house. It's completely private though, you're surrounded by trees, birds, frogs and monkeys. We stayed for two nights, one of which the owner drove us to town and back for dinner, which was was lovely and kind. Host family are lovely and we felt very welcome.

Located in Deniyaya in the Matara District region, Rainforest Nature House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Absolut Nature, absolut beautiful, absolut incredible place to be! We stayed here for 4 days and had an incredible time. The family cares a lot for you and you feel home! Also the food in the accomodation is very delicious and good! When you love nature and you want to wake up with a view of a shining sunrise over the jungel you should stay here! We are very grateful gor our stay and hope to come back one day!
